RF GOLF SOFTWARE · PILOT TEST
Ready for the clubhouse TV.
Start with a display check. Then, once your account works, test a real score update from a second device.
Open sample scoreboard →No login needed for the sample. It uses the real scoreboard layout with fictional scores. It does not test live scoring or the simulator connection.
1. Check the screen
- Open this page on the computer connected to the TV, or in the TV browser. A separate computer connected by HDMI is also an option.
- Open the sample scoreboard. Select TV mode, then Fullscreen. If fullscreen is unavailable, maximize the browser.
- Stand where golfers will watch. Check player/team names, scores and all four edges. Adjust the TV picture size or browser zoom if anything is clipped.
- Leave it running for at least one minute. Pages should rotate every 12 seconds in TV mode.
- Check Preview skins rotation to try the optional skins screen. It starts off by default.
2. Test real scoring
Requires a working organizer account. Use a separate test event so practice scores do not affect league results or handicaps.
- Create a test event with a few sample golfers and teams. Set the course par, stroke indexes and starting handicaps.
- Open the event’s scoreboard sharing settings, enable public sharing, and copy its spectator link.
- Open that link on the TV and enter TV mode. Anyone with this link can see names and scores.
- On your phone, enter one hole, wait for the save confirmation, and check the TV. The public scoreboard refreshes every 10 seconds while visible.
- Correct the score and confirm the change appears. Refresh the phone to confirm it was saved.
- Disable sharing after testing and confirm the TV stops showing the board on its next refresh.
3. Check APEX separately
Play a few holes on the simulator and enter those scores manually in RF Golf. Automatic APEX score import is not connected yet. Confirm the course, tees, putting/gimme settings and pace before the league begins.
Send back: a photo of the TV from the seating area, the device/browser you used, and anything cut off, too small or slow to update.
Print this page with your browser’s Print command. This is a pilot checklist; payments, AI imports and public account onboarding are not yet cleared for launch.
